I’m one of the physios on the Complex Trauma team at Headley Court. Those of you who know me are probably quite surprised to see my face on this page! But seeing the team’s achievements last year has inspired me to challenge myself beyond anything I would have ever considered before working at Headley....and I’ve found myself training to take part in this amazing (ridiculous?!) event. For me it’s not the swim but the bike and run sections that I’m feeling totally out of my depth with. And the thought of doing them all in one day seems impossible at the moment! But I’m enjoying the training so far, and hoping I can keep the momentum up as it intensifies towards the summer. I’m excited about the adventure ahead and about being part of Team True Spirit as we support each other on the road to Bolton. And I’m looking forward to having a great excuse to eat lots of chocolate over the next few months!
