THE CHARITIES

Our team is made up of servicemen and women from all across the armed forces, and we have selected the charities that we feel help them and their families come to terms with the life changing injuries and experiences that they have been through.

In 2011, we raised over £10,000 for the the charities we supported by completing Ironman UK and this year so far we have raised in excess of £45,000 and this money will make a real difference.

Please take some time to read about the charities we support and if you can donate just a small amount then it would go a long way to making their lives and the lives of their families just that little bit better.

We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life.

The Parachute Regiment Charity was established to support soldiers of the Parachute Regiment and other Airborne Forces and their families.

We look after our serving soldiers, whether they served in the Falklands, Iraq, Afghanistan or anywhere with the Regiment, even if not on active operations. If wounded, injured, in need of specialist help or in financial need or distress, we are there to help. We also look after the needs of their families who are inevitably affected.

We give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. They risk so much for us, but for them, it’s just doing their job.

In return, we provide financial assistance when they are in real need. That’s what we’ve been here to offer for 66 years.
